Description
Summary:Indonesian mineral resources and reserves data consist of both open and confidential data, making it partially confidential. Issues such as data confidentiality, data security and data originality pose challenges in data sharing. Blockchain has emerged as a technology that offers decentralized, transparent, and immutable data management. It enables many users who do not necessarily trust each other to reach a consensus on data. By employing appropriate access control and the implementation of the AES-256-CBC cryptographic technique, which combines Identity Based Encryption (IBE) and Attribute Based Encryption (ABE) with bilinear pairing for key-agreement, is considered to enhance the security of confidential data. To improve storage efficiency and system scalability, this research proposes a data storage scheme that integrates blockchain technology with the Interplanetary File System (IPFS). The evaluation results indicate that the basic functionality is met, with an average response time that is not significantly different from the response time for unencrypted data. Testing the uniqueness of the encryption keys held by users shows that, among up to 1,000,000 random samples, there are no identical keys between users. Additionally, the response time for 100, 1000, and 5000 data addition transactions indicates a stable value, supporting scalability.
