Flooding is one of the biggest problems that often occurs in the field of water resources that can be with one of the areas that often experience flooding is Daeyuhkolot District. The flood inundates villages located near several rivers such as the Citarum River and Cipalasari River, so it is necessary to solve the flood problem to reduce the potential and impact of flooding in the future. In this final project, a retention pond is used as a solution to flood management in Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict, Bandung Regency, especially on Cisirung Street.
The design of the retention pond was carried out by analyzing rainfall and soil data in the location area, with a review of the Cipalasari River. After that, a unit synthesis hydrograph analysis was carried out to determine the flood discharge in the Cipalasari River and flood modeling was carried out using the HEC-RAS application. With 2D modeling, flood management is obtained in the form of retention ponds with box culvert channels and pumps and normalization of the Cipalasari River in the form of river deepening so that inundation is not found again. The reduced inundation area is obtained gradually 97,78% and 100%. Soil stability analysis was also conducted in the form of retention pond slope analysis and pump house foundation bearing capacity to ensure that the water structure around the retention pond is sturdy. The calculation of the budget plan and the provision of operation and maintenance were also carried out in order to ensure that the retention pond can run well. |
