ITB has a group of human resources (HR) consisting of educators (lecturers) and education personnel (tendik) and strives to improve the quality of its HR through human capital transformation that emphasizes the principles of professionalism, integration, and efficiency. As a support for the implementation of education, the quality and performance of education personnel need to be considered and problems in their management must also be fixed. Based on interviews with education personnels, symptoms of problems were obtained, one of which was related to the unfulfilled career needs of education personnel. Currently, ITB only provides a structural career path with a limited number of positions. Therefore, this study aims to design the functional career path as an alternative path for the development of education personnel careers. The job groups for which career paths will be designed are Archivists and Librarians. The design begins with identifying functional duties based on the existing duties of ITB work units and ASN policy references. Then, the positions and levels of the functional duties are identified using Bloom's taxonomy and Simpson's taxonomy. Job competency profile are also identified using content analysis techniques. Furthermore, job requirements are compiled by referring to ASN policies. The final stage is the preparation of job descriptions and job spesifications that contain all design results. Based on the design results, there are 7 positions in the Archivist group that consists of Arsiparis Ahli Pertama, Arsiparis Ahli Muda, Arsiparis Ahli Madya, Arsiparis Ahli Utama, Arsiparis Terampil, Arsiparis Mahir, and Arsiparis Penyelia. There are also 7 positions in the Librarian group, that consists of Pustakawan Ahli Pertama, Pustakawan Ahli Muda, Pustakawan Ahli Madya, Pustakawan Ahli Utama, Ahli Perpustakaan Terampil, Ahli Perpustakaan Mahir, and Ahli Perpustakaan Penyelia. text |
