The research identifies and addresses significant business challenges, including high Death on Arrival (DOA) rates, operational inefficiencies, and environmental concerns. A comprehensive review of literature on GSCM, maturity models, and performance measurement was conducted, identifying gaps specific to the aquaculture sector. This review forms the basis for developing a theoretical framework to integrate GSCM practices into Fish 96’s operations using a structured maturity model. Data collection methods include interviews, questionnaires, and observations that was conducted from Feb – June 2024. Five participants were involved: the owner of company, operations director, and logistics director of Fish 96, along with two industry experts. These qualitative methods helped assess the company’s current GSCM maturity and gather insights for the proposed model. Findings reveal that Fish 96 is at an early stage in its GSCM journey, with most practices either non-existent or just beginning to be implemented. The proposed maturity model outlines five levels—Non-existent, Aware, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sustainable—offering a clear roadmap for Fish 96 to enhance its GSCM performance. The research's recommendations include the adoption of comprehensive green practices across all supply chain dimensions, emphasising the need for systematic strategies, enhanced supplier engagement, and focused efficiency measures. Implementing these recommendations is expected to reduce operational costs, minimise environmental impact, and improve social outcomes, thereby contributing to the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of Fish 96. text
