Description
Summary:The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) has experienced significant growth, yet challenges persist for companies in the construction sector aiming to go public. This thesis examines the risk management framework of PT Nindya Karya (Persero) in preparation for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). Utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology, the study identifies and assesses critical risk factors specific to the Indonesian construction industry that could impact the IPO's success. Data for this research was gathered through AHP questionnaires distributed to both internal and external stakeholders of PT Nindya Karya. The findings reveal that internal audit effectiveness and operational risk are the most significant internal risks, with the former being classified as extreme. Externally, timing risk and underwriter performance are identified as extreme risks, reflecting the volatile nature of the market and the critical role of accurate timing and competent underwriting in IPO success. The research concludes with strategic recommendations to enhance PT Nindya Karya's risk management practices, aligning them with industry best practices and ensuring the company is wellpositioned for a successful IPO.
