Description
Summary:Currently, public transportation users can access public transportation through mobile or web applications, such as the Jaklingko app. However, some users still encounter issues when using the Jaklingko app. The interaction design of the bus tracking feature needs to be evaluated to help users access route and bus schedule information more effectively and efficiently. Therefore, using a user-centered design approach, this research will focus on the problems experienced by users with the bus tracking feature in the Jaklingko app. This research will produce an interaction design that includes features for saving favorite bus stops, displaying route recommendations, showing the list of buses on a corridor and at a bus stop, and displaying bus and route information. The results of usability testing using usability goals show that the interaction design is effective for use, as achieved a task completion rate of 100% and is efficient to use, with a SEQ score of 6.56 out of 7. Additionally, the interaction design has also met user experience goals, being helpful with an IMI score of 6.77 out of 7. Overall, after 2 iterations, the SUS score has improved from 74.5 to 85.5. These results indicate that the design is categorized as having good usability.
