To remain competitive in the Indonesian market and comply with government regulations for Halal implementation on medical devices, PT. Boston Scientific Indonesia is exploring the possibility of obtaining Halal certification for some of its medical device products. Although several studies have examined consumer behavior towards Halal products, there is a lack of research focusing specifically on the Halal medical devices sector. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the purchase intention of Halal medical devices among Indonesians and their preferences for using medical devices based on the given categories. Utilizing structural equation modeling with partial least squares (SEM-PLS), this study tests and estimates the relationships among various variables. The findings reveal that Perceived Self-Efficacy directly influences Perceived Behavioral Control and affects Attitude, which in turn directly influences the Purchase Intention for Halal medical devices. text |
