Revitalization, conservation and sport are interconnected in an effort to create public spaces that are not only beautiful and functional, but also sustainable and support a healthy lifestyle. Cadika Park, one of the parks in Medan City, has now been designated as a City Forest Park. With a fairly large and strategic location, not far from the city center, this park has developed into a campground and is equipped with various sports facilities. This potential increased after park management was transferred from the Parks Department to the Youth and Sports Department. However, unfortunately the current condition of the park is still poorly maintained.
Therefore, the revitalization of Cadika Park as a City Forest Park that supports open space sports activities that are friendly to landscape conservation is very necessary. With management now under the Youth and Sports Department, this park can become a forum for improving the quality of training for prospective athletes in Medan City. This step is also in line with the vision and mission of DISPORA Medan City, namely "Improving sports culture and achievements in a tiered and sustainable manner through the stages of introducing sports, monitoring, scouting and developing talent, as well as increasing achievement." In this way, the park will support physical activity while preserving the environment and improving the quality of the ecosystem. Analyze the micro, meso and macro constraints and potential of the current role of landscape conservation (water management and green management) in Cadika Park.
