Summary:Complex Organic Molecules (COMs) are carbon-based molecules that contain six or more atoms and are considered the building blocks of life. Some COMs, such as methanol (Fontani dkk., 2011), methyl formate, and dimethyl ether (Bisschop dkk., 2007), are more abundant in regions of star formation with larger masses. The gas surrounding the core containing COMs is heated by the radiation from the central protobintang, leading to the thermal desorption of heavy molecules from the ice mantle and dust surface, followed by gas-phase reactions that drive chemical complexity. High-mass Star Forming Regions (HMSFR) are areas where high-mass stars (?8M?) are formed, and "high-mass” refers not to the size of the region itself but to the mass of the stars formed within it. In this thesis, the author utilized data from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) and processed it with CASA to detect and identify various organic molecules present in the HMSFR G24.78+0.08. ALMA detected spectral continuum and line emissions from the observed object at various millimeter/sub-millimeter wavelengths. The data were analyzed using standard reduction and calibration procedures, and based on the generated spectra, the presence of emission lines from the target molecules could be identified. Among the 16 molecular species detected, 11 were COMs including methanol, cyanoacetylene, and methyl formate. Additionally, several molecules serve as important tracers for different structures: 13CO is used as an outflow tracer, while HNCO is utilized as a hot core tracer.
