Description
Summary:Excesive use of natural resouce is one of the factors of global warming. In Indonesia, fossil fuels are still the main source of energy. This overuse of resources is projected to continue to increase with the increase in Indonesia's population growth. With the increase in population, the need for housing will also increase. The building sector is included in the sector that uses the most energy with 45 percent of the total energy used comes from the operation of the building itself. The Bioclimatic Architecture approach tries to deal with the problem of energy waste by responding to the climate and utilizing its potential. The aim of this thesis is to create an apartment concept that can adapt to the environment and can minimize excessive energy use and maximize comfort in the building. The main focus in this thesis is how to increase user comfort but reduce the energy required (energy efficiency). So that the quality of human life in it is maintained but also continues to preserve the environment. Therefore, it is expected that Apartment Design with a Bioclimatic approach can be one of the residential solutions that waste energy and damage the environment.
