Description
Summary:Redesign of Kiaracondong Traditional Market is aimed at improving market performance so that the market’s role as a hub for social and economic activities can be enhanced. The structure consists of a three - story reinforced concrete framework with a steel roof structure. The project is located in Bandung, classified under Seismic Design Category D and Seismic Risk Category III. Therefore, a Special Moment Frame System is chosen as the building's structural system, and a Steel Frame System with Concentrically Braced Frames is selected for the steel roof structure. The design of the concrete structure was carried out using ETABS software, referring to the regulations in SNI 2847: 2019 and SNI 1727: 2019, while the roof design was performed separately with SAP 2000 software, based on SNI 1729 : 2020. For the structural analysis, the building was checked against earthquake loads in compliance with SNI 1726: 2019. The connection of the facade to the concrete structure was also designed following the guidelines in AISC Design Guide 1. This design considers the impact of seismic loads on non-structural elements to produce a more conservative design. The results include dimensions and reinforcement configurations for each structural element, the connection configurations between concrete and steel elements, as well as Detailed Engineering Drawings (DED) for each structural component.
