The data used in this study were obtained from testing conducted at the Geomechanics and Mining Equipment Laboratory, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, ITB, from 2008 to 2023. The samples were collected from the Kutai Basin, East Kalimantan. The probability distributions of unconfined compressive strength (UCS), uniaxial tensile strength (UTS), point load index (PLI), and Young's modulus of sedimentary rocks are crucial in rock engineering design and construction. However, determining their distribution types can be time-consuming and costly. Therefore, distribution fitting was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method. The results showed correlation coefficients between UCS and E ranging from 110.15 to 187.96, with R-squared values between 0.745 and 0.856. The correlation coefficients between UTS and UCS ranged from 4.98 to 14.76, with R-squared values between 0.722 and 0.919. The correlation coefficients between PLI and UCS ranged from 5.87 to 12.12, with R-squared values between 0.780 and 0.848. Further comparison was made with previous studies in the Kutai Basin and other regions. text
