Bandung, a city known for its unique landmarks and beauty, faces significant challenges during the 2024 general election campaign activities due to the use of outdoor advertising that disrupt visual quality. This research explores the relationship between the use of outdoor advertising as campaign props and the visual pollution resulting from these policies, as perceived by the public. The research employs a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected through field observations, questionnaires distributed to the public, and interviews with relevant parties such as the Bandung City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP Kota Bandung), the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP Kota Bandun), and the Election Supervisory Board of Bandung City (Bawaslu Kota Bandung). The analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques, including non-parametric statistical analysis (Kruskal-Wallis) and Spearman correlation to identify relationships between variables. The study results indicate that the use of outdoor advertising as campaign props, through their physical characteristics, contributes significantly to visual pollution in Bandung City. Design, color, and lighting variables generally have an insignificant impact on visual pollution. However, in terms of management and monitoring of campaign props, various challenges beyond the established regulatory scope were found in the field, which can lead to visual pollution. This study concludes that stricter and more detailed regulations regarding the use of campaign props are necessary to reduce the intrusive visual impacts in Bandung City text
