With increasing urbanization, this problem is expected to become more complex. The Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) program emerges as an innovative solution, prioritizing collaboration between local governments and communities in addressing slum settlements. This study aims to identify forms of community participation practices within the KOTAKU program in RW 005 Mekarjaya. Using a qualitative approach and data collection methods including interviews and document studies, this research analyzes community participation at each stage of the program’s implementation. The results indicate active community participation in the planning and implementation stages, but a decline during the sustainability phase. The analysis reveals fluctuating participation levels, from "Partnership" during the planning stage to "Therapy" in the sustainability phase. This study highlights the importance of sustaining participation for the program’s long-term effectiveness. text
