Port of Sungai Nyamuk , located on Sebatik Island, North Kalimantan Province, is one of the ports that serves as a logistical and passenger access point for Sebatik Island. This port is designed to accommodate cargo ships with a capacity of 3,000 DWT and passenger ships of 25 GT, serving two docks, a multipurpose dock and a passenger dock. This Final Project discusses the design of the multipurpose dock structure, the passenger dock, and the trestle, which provides access from the dock to the mainland. The scope of the final project includes data collection and processing, the initial design of the structure to account for the working loads, structural modeling and analysis using SAP2000 software, the structural reinforcement design, the calculation and analysis of frame connections, and an analysis of the bearing capacity of the soil at the dock location. The structural elements of the design include beams, slabs, piles, and pile caps. The structural modeling and analysis will be conducted according to the UCR and deflection limits acceptable for the structure based on standard guidelines. The output of the modeling will provide the optimal design and yield internal forces along with the structural reaction forces, which will be used in the design of the structural element reinforcement, frame connection analysis, and soil bearing capacity analysis. The designed multipurpose dock has dimensions of 113,5 m in length and 17,5 m in width, the designed trestle has dimensions of 2.115 m in length and 5,5 m in width, and the designed passenger dock has dimensions of 12 m in length and 4 m in width. The piles used for the multipurpose dock have a diameter of 500 mm with a thickness of 12 mm and will be driven to a depth of 16 m below the seabed. The piles used for the trestle have a diameter of 400 mm with a thickness of 10 mm and will be driven to a depth of 12 m below the seabed. The piles used for the passenger dock have a diameter of 254 mm with a thickness of 8 mm and will be driven to a depth of 16 m below the seabed. The results of this final project include the structure dimensions, the dimensions of the structural elements, berthing and mooring facilities for ships, the detailed reinforcement of the structural elements, and the pile driving depths. text
