Description
Summary:Kalibaru Terminal is one of five port terminals that is part of Tanjung Priok Port development in accommodating the growth of logistic flow around 23% every year. The growth is decreasing terminal’s capacity in Tanjung Priok Port. On the other hand, oil and gas terminal is needed due to limitation of water depth along berths of Pertamina in Tanjung Priok Port and keeping some distance between oil tank farms and urban areas because oil and gas products are dangerous in terms of stevedoring, storage and delivering/distributing operations. This final project report will discuss about layout design of navigation channel and turning basin, estimation of dredging volume, type and number of dredgers used, and estimation of dredging work cost. Based on the planned ship that will berth at oil and gas terminal in Kalibaru Terminal, navigation channel is designed with depth of -17.05 meters LWS, width of 500 meters, and side slope of 5°. The turning basin is designed with depth of -17.05 meters and diameter of 500 meters. Calculation of dredging volume using cross-section method shows that total dredging volume is 41,115,350 m³. Dredging work is carried put by 2 TSHD with duration limit of 12 months. The dredging work requires an estimated cost of Rp4,195,983,511,410.95 or Rp102,053.94 per m³.
