Thjs thesis tried to find a model for problem solving by adopting the knowledge of evidence based practices in the medicine world. Research metbodolgy in this thesis using the approach design science in information system. Analysis step begins with the observation of problem solving phenomenon in curiculum development. Observastions on the evidence based practices application in various fields are also carried out The analogy is used as the knowledge mappi.ng process to be obtai.ned from the application of evidence based practices in the medicine domain to the system domain. Further step is conceptual dan substantial analysis. Conceptual analysis performed to obtain the truth, whereas substantial analysis performed to get new ideas and practical in designing new model
The result of this thesis is an information technology (IT) artifacL IT artifact are broadly defined as constructs, models, and methods of evidence based -SSM. Evidence bascd-SSM obtained from the synthesis between CheckJand's SSM and Ebp steps.Evidence based -SSM show that mulitperspective approach can be performed while maintaining the scientiflevel of the resulting alternative solution. Evaluation of artifacts made by observation through a structured interview on a case srudy of curriculum development program in information studies IT Telkom faculty of industri engineering. Observations indicate that all constructs of Evidence-based models - SSM has necessary proved. |
