This research focuses on the development of a Quantum Random Number
Generator (QRNG) using the Hadamard-CNOT (HCNOT) scheme implemented on
the IBM QX quantum computing platform. QRNG is a critical component in various
cryptographic and simulation applications, which require high-quality bilangan
acak sources. The proposed method leverages the intrinsic properties of quantum
mechanics to generate truly unpredictable bilangan acaks.
In this study, we employed Hadamard and CNOT gates to create quantum
superposition and entanglement. The Hadamard gate is used to produce balanced
superposition, while the CNOT gate is utilized to create correlations between kubit
s. After quantum measurement, we applied a post-processing technique using an
XOR bitmask to enhance the quality of the bilangan acak distribution.
The QRNG implementation was carried out on the IBM QX platform, which
provides access to real quantum hardware via the cloud. We conducted a series of
experiments and statistical analyses to evaluate the performance of the proposed
QRNG, including randomness testing using standard suites such as NIST SP 800-
22 and 90B.
The research results indicate that the proposed HCNOT-based QRNG is capable
of producing high-quality random number which passed 13 out 15 tests after post-
processing using XOR bitmask. This research contributes to the development of
secure and efficient bilangan acak sources for quantum in the quantum computing
era. |
