DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL INDEX (IKML) FORMULATION USING THE ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP) METHOD FOR THE WEST JAVA PROVINCE STUDY AREA

Along with the development of the era, many human activities harm the environment and human health. Several preventive efforts have been made with an integrated monitoring system in an index. However, the availability of quantitative assessments that represent a condition related to human health...

INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/86625 Along with the development of the era, many human activities harm the environment and human health. Several preventive efforts have been made with an integrated monitoring system in an index. However, the availability of quantitative assessments that represent a condition related to human health and environmental conditions has yet to be developed. This study will look at the ecological condition and health quality with the data that has been collected. It will also include several alternatives to create a quantitative assessment formula, such as the Human and Environmental Health Index (IKML). The study was conducted by statistical science with the Spearman correlation analysis method to analyze the relationship between each indicator. Several positive relationships were found (0.16 - 0.67), such as the health index with the education index, the education index with health workers, the health index with health insurance, and IKLH with the poverty severity index. Meanwhile, the IKML formulation was developed using several methods, namely the weight equalization method, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the average comparison. The formulation obtained will go through validation testing using Monte Carlo simulation. Three formulas of IKML were produced from the three methods with relatively reliable and stable validity in various data input conditions, namely IKML from the weight equalization method and AHP weighting based on health sector groups and work experience> 10 years. text
