Summary: | The development of franchise businesses today has experienced a very rapid increase, especially in big cities. This condition has caused increasingly tight business competition. For this reason, a strategy is needed to determine the location of a business in order to succeed in the competition.
Location Theory tries to find a formulation to determine the location of a business activity/industry by considering economic factors that have a dominant influence. The factors contained in the Location Theory are still very general. For this reason, in this study, derivative factors that have an influence will be sought so that they can be used as criteria in determining the location of a fried chicken franchise business by distributing questionnaires. These factors will be tested to create a GIS model for determining the location of a fried chicken franchise business.
GIS has the ability to collect, store and analyze objects and phenomena in solving problems faced using predetermined criteria. Based on these capabilities, GIS is used as a decision support for determining the location of a fried chicken franchise business |
