Description
Summary:With the increasing population, the demand for household water in Bandung Regency is also increasing. To meet this need, the development of a Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) is one solution. In December 2023 the service level of region III Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja was 8.1% and the Bandung Regency administration was 8.47%. With the RISPAM target of 80%, distribution network development is required. This study focuses on the development of the distribution network of the Kertasari Water Supply System (SPAM), Bandung Regency, which is served by the Cipejeuh Water Treatment Plant (WTP). This IPA will serve 30% of the total demand in the service area. Cipejeuh IPA has a total capacity of 690 LPS with a division of 390 LPS for Bandung Regency and 300 LPS for Bandung City. In developing SPAM, the quantitative analysis method is used, which is an approach in the process of data collection, field observation, data analysis, and modeling carried out with data certainty, calculation, and numerical. The design must meet technical and non-technical criteria. Technical criteria include pressure, velocity, and water quality. In this study, three alternative distribution networks were proposed using hydraulic simulation using EPANET 2.2. and then the best alternative was selected using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The first alternative was selected as the best solution because it had the shortest pipe length with the best performance in water quality, as well as ease of construction and maintenance. However, the minimum pressure at one junction did not meet the standard. In addition to technical aspects, non-technical aspects were considered, including economic and financial aspects. Conclusion of these aspects, the design for the development of the Kertasari IPA Cipejeuh SPAM is feasible.
