fashion industry, particularly as a combination material for clothing products.
Daluang bark fiber, known as a natural material, possesses unique characteristics that
have the potential to be applied in innovative fashion designs. Its use in this context
remains limited, so this research focuses on the benefits of daluang bark fiber in terms
of material exploration and aesthetics. The methodology involves a qualitative
approach, including experiments, exploration, and design development. Experiments
were conducted to process the bark fiber into fashion products, with data collected
through interviews with daluang artisans and design innovations derived from
distributed questionnaires. The findings indicate that daluang bark fiber has significant
potential as a combination material for aesthetically appealing clothing. However,
further processing is required to enhance the material’s flexibility and comfort for
practical apparel use. The study also identified challenges, such as high production
costs and limited consumer acceptance of fashion products made with daluang bark
