INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/86771 This research investigated the relationship between motivation, leadership styles, and resource allocation in women-led businesses within Bandung's fashion and textile sector, focusing on how these factors influence the prioritization of economic, social, and environmental outcomes. The study involved 12 women entrepreneurs and used semi-structured interviews and empathy mapping to explore their motivations and leadership traits, guided by the Input-Process-Output (IPO) conceptual framework. Findings show that intrinsic and extrinsic motivations shape leadership styles, with authentic leaders focusing on economic stability, while servant and spiritual leaders prioritize social well-being and environmental sustainability. Authentic leaders struggle to integrate social and environmental aspects, servant leaders face challenges in balancing social missions with financial sustainability, and spiritual leaders encounter difficulties aligning eco-friendly practices with financial viability. The study also identifies challenges such as high production costs, limited capital, and competition in the sector. Tailored solutions for each leadership style are proposed to address these challenges and integrate short-term actions with longterm strategies, focusing on bridging gaps in the triple bottom line. The implementation plans for each leadership group—Strategic Partnership for authentic leaders, Social Enterprise for servant leaders, and Collaborative Ecosystem for spiritual leaders—are outlined with clear phases emphasizing market research, partnership development, brand building, marketing campaigns, and integrating sustainability practices. These strategies aim for scalable, financially stable growth, ensuring long-term sustainability while addressing social, economic, and environmental concerns. text |
