Compared to regular cars, electric vehicles are quite expensive. Electric vehicle components, namely batteries, generate high costs. This shows how important it is to design a charging system that is not only fast but also safe for the battery. LifePO4 batteries are sensitive to temperature changes. Exposure to high temperatures can damage LiFePO4 batteries and accelerate their degradation. In this paper, the charging system is designed with CC-CV control which changes when the system SoC reaches 80%, which is the operating limit of a Li-ion battery. To prevent the main aging mechanism of the battery, the internal temperature of the LiFePO4 battery can be maintained between 30° and 40° C when the charging current is regulated. 30C pulse charging is used to achieve the minimum ideal temperature. Next, the charging current is reduced to a constant charging current of 4C. In addition, it is tested when the battery experiences damaged conditions and changes in surrounding temperature, which will affect the charging current. To verify the proposed method above, simulations with Matlab Simulink have been successfully carried out. text
