The photovoltaic system is designed to utilize the potential of Tembesi reservoir as the installation site, offering higher efficiency and efficient land use compared to ground-mounted PV systems. The study uses PVsyst software to simulate and analyze the photovoltaic system's performance with two types of PV modules, monofacial and bifacial. Simulation results show that the bifacial PV system generates 7.17% more energy compared to the monofacial module, with a performance ratio of 0.922 for bifacial and 0.860 for monofacial. Additionally, the bifacial PV system has a lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of 0.066 USD/kWh compared to 0.070 USD/kWh for the monofacial PV system. This research also highlights a reduction in annual evaporation loss of 886,293 cubic meters per year, which adds to the overall benefits of this FPV technology. text
