Description
Summary:SHKKeva Indonesia is a step-down subsidiary of SHKKeva, an Indian multinational company that manufactures fragrances and flavours. To elevate its competitive advantages in Southeast Asia, SHKKeva decided to set up a new factory in Indonesia. The President Director of SHKKeva Indonesia visited the company's main manufacturing office in India and felt that the existing performance measurement system was outdated and lacking; hence, a new performance measurement system for the new operations is needed. This research aims to design a performance measurement system that consists of objective strategies, Critical Success Factors (CSFs), performance indicators, and monitoring dashboards. CSFs are identified through group discussions with problem users and aligned with objective strategies. A relationship matrix with planned business processes is created to determine the importance of CSFs, and selection is based on relative importance. Then, performance indicators are identified by conducting a literature survey. To align the performance indicators with CSFs, a relationship matrix is created, and degrees of correlation are identified. Furthermore, the data needed for the performance indicators to be used is identified. Finally, a dashboard is created to monitor performance based on selected indicators so that management can effectively track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data- driven decisions to achieve strategic objectives. The results of this research consist of 20 performance indicators, 4 of them are specified for some division, based on Safety & Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale & Capability (SQDCM). Monitoring dashboards is made based on SQDCM too and further segregated based on layout limitations.
