However, the success of these organizations in fulfilling their missions and achieving lasting impact is often closely tied to the sustainability and reliability of their funding. Over the years, traditional funding sources such as grants and donations have become increasingly volatile and competitive, prompting NGOs to seek variation of fundraising strategies. The diversification of funding sources has emerged as a critical strategy to ensure long-term organizational sustainability. By minimizing reliance on a single donor or funding stream, NGOs can better withstand economic fluctuations and adapt to changing donor preferences, ensuring continued programmatic success and operational stability (UNDP, 2018; Philanthropy Circuit, 2023). In Indonesia, the NGO sector faces unique challenges, with over 400,000 registered organizations competing for limited resources, creating an environment of heightened competition for funding (LinkLSM, 2021). Many Indonesian NGOs struggle with financial sustainability, largely due to a lack of comprehensive fundraising strategies and a heavy reliance on international aid, which has been on the decline in recent years (USAID, 2020). Yayasan Teratai Putih Yogyakarta (YTPY), located in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, represents a case study of these challenges. For years, YTPY has depended heavily on a single donor, ChildFund Indonesia, for its operations and programs. This dependency exposes the organization to significant risks, as any changes in donor priorities or reductions in funding could jeopardize its ability to maintain its services and staff. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the most suitable fundraising initiatives for YTPY using AHP method and to propose strategies that will enable the organization to become more resilient and sustainable, and also to demonstrate that funding diversification is not only about securing additional income but also about enhancing organizational independence and credibility. By reducing dependence on a single donor, YTPY can reduce its vulnerability to external risks, gain greater flexibility in decision-making, and increase its ability to respond to community needs. This diversification will allow YTPY to thrive in an increasingly challenging funding environment, ensuring it can continue its valuable work in supporting vulnerable children and communities. text |

Over the years, traditional funding sources such as grants and donations have become increasingly volatile and competitive, prompting NGOs to seek variation of fundraising strategies.
