| Summary: | Sumbermujur is a tourism village located in Lumajang Regency, East Java which lies
in the complex of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area so it has enormous
tourism potential. Tourism within Gunung Semeru prioritizes natural tourism and
supported by the availability of homestay and transportation facilities. However, the
information management in Sumbermujur Tourism Village still cannot be managed
properly, also with the uncertain condition changes that make regular information
updates are needed. This project is made to promote village tourism, with the outputs
of spatial database design and geographic information system of Sumbermujur
Tourism Village, Lumajang Regency. The final result obtained by building a spatial
database system according to the necessity of tour managers and then create a design
of geographic information system. This geographic information system is expected to
be developed into an integrated information system that can be updated regularly to
facilitate tourists who will visit and improve the village economy.
