Maternal Disaster is a Bandung-based small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clothing brand, established in 2003, offering a diverse range of products including T-shirts, pants, bags, shoes, caps, and accessories. As of November 2024, the company operates nine stores and has numerous resellers across Indonesia. Despite significant growth, CV. Maternal Disaster faces operational challenges such as production delays, employee disengagement, and competition from larger firms. To address these challenges, this study proposes the implementation of a Knowledge-Based Performance Management System (KBPMS). The KBPMS framework is designed to align individual efforts with the company’s strategic goals, improving overall performance. The development of KBPMS is structured into five phases: (1) Foundation, focusing on principles like partnership, empowerment, integration, and independence; (2) Background Information, analyzing the internal and external business environment; (3) Design Process, which includes the formulation of the company’s vision, mission, and strategy, identification of performance variables, and setting benchmarks.; (4) Implementation Process, covering measurement, evaluation, diagnosis, and follow up action; and (5) Refreshment, focusing on evaluation and continuous improvement. This study is limited to the design phase. A set of 21 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) was developed, categorized into three perspectives: business results, internal processes, and resource capabilities. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was incorporated to assign weights to the KPIs, ensuring that the most critical performance indicators are prioritized based on their relative importance. An implementation plan was outlined to guide future actions for applying the KBPMS. In conclusion, adopting KBPMS will enable CV. Maternal Disaster to effectively monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions, enhancing productivity, reducing delays, and strengthening its competitive edge in the dynamic clothing industry. text
