Description
Summary:Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles have become a central focus for organizations aiming to balance financial performance with sustainable and socially responsible practices. This study examines the integration of the social aspect of ESG strategies in Bank XYZ, emphasizing employee engagement, inclusivity, and workplace sustainability. The research identifies critical employee-centric internal processes and proposes strategies to strengthen ESG adoption across all organizational levels. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, such as transformational leadership and systems thinking, and alignment with regulatory standards, including POJK No. 51/POJK.03/2017 and SEOJK No. 16/SEOJK.04/2021, the study outlines actionable recommendations for achieving comprehensive ESG integration. The findings highlight the importance of creating a dedicated ESG team to oversee the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives. Continuous learning and targeted training programs are essential to enhance employee awareness and competency in ESG principles. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the role of structured feedback systems in shaping inclusive ESG policies and the value of monitoring employee well-being to align organizational goals with workforce satisfaction. Transparent reporting on diversity, training outcomes, and workplace safety also emerges as a critical element in building stakeholder trust and ensuring compliance with ESG standards. The research offers practical recommendations, including launching awareness campaigns, implementing reward systems for ESG-related contributions, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration. These strategies aim to empower employees, foster a culture of shared accountability, and enhance organizational adaptability to ESG requirements. Additionally, the study provides insights into integrating employee feedback into ESG planning, ensuring that policies reflect the needs and perspectives of the workforce.
