| Summary: | The development of the Summarecon Bandung area as a new center of activity in
the East Bandung Region aims to support economic, social, and urban spatial
growth. This research analyzes the connectivity and integration of the road network
in the area using the Space Syntax method. This method allows the evaluation of
the connectedness and efficiency of the road network in supporting the function of
the area as a new activity center. The analysis shows that the connectivity and
integration of the road network in the Summarecon Bandung area still requires
improvement to achieve optimal accessibility. The research also identified strategic
road segments that contribute significantly to the mobility and accessibility of the
area. By improving road network integration, the area is expected to facilitate a
more equitable distribution of economic activities between the western and eastern
regions of Bandung. The resulting recommendations include the development of
new road infrastructure, optimization of Gedebage toll access, and transportation
planning based on regional integration. This research provides theoretical
contributions in transportation planning and practical guidance for sustainable
urban development. |
