THE IMPACT OF INGUB FIELD REVITALIZATION ON THE EMPOWERMENT OF SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES(INGUB SERDANG FIELD CASE STUDY)

Revitalizing sports fields in urban areas, such as INGUB Field in Serdang, Central Jakarta, is an important strategy in improving the quality of public spaces. This research focuses on the community living around INGUB Field, Serdang, Central Jakarta, which is the object of revitalization. This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of the revitalization of the INGUB Field on the empowerment of the surrounding community, both in terms of social and economic functions. The focus of this research is to analyze funding sources for the revitalization and maintenance of the INGUB Field, analyze the increase in sports performance of the surrounding community before and after the revitalization of the football field, and analyze the social and economic functions that occur before and after the revitalization of the football field. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data will be collected through in-depth interviews with local residents, field managers, and other related parties. In addition, direct observation of activities taking place in the field after revitalization will also be carried out. The analysis technique used is interviews. The results of the analysis of the source of funding for the revitalization and maintenance of the INGUB Field come from the Building Floor Coefficient Excess Fine (KLB) paid by the developer. However, the public's accessibility to the field has become more limited because the field only functions specifically as a means of football sports, and cannot be used for other sports. The increase in sports achievements of the surrounding community is seen from the activities of the sports community such as football schools (SSB) and regular competitions that are held; The social and economic function that occurs is that many citizens feel a loss of flexibility to use the field spontaneously, which leads to a decrease in participation in non-sports community events and creates a gap in social engagement.
