Summary: | Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti offers nature tourism in a plantation area along with camping facilities for a nighttime experience in nature. During the 2022 Idul Fitri holiday, the destination recorded 10,000 visitors. Although it is known as a fertile agricultural hub with agrotourism potential, there is no detailed development plan in the regional planning documents. The lack of sustainability in its management may negatively impact the local community, given the low number of visitors due to suboptimal management and inadequate services. This highlights the need for better planning and management to ensure the sustainability of agrotourism. This research aims to formulate a sustainable agrotourism development model for Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti using a mix-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. The first phase involves descriptive analysis of the components of tourism destination development, followed by quantitative analysis using Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) to evaluate the fulfillment of development aspects toward sustainable agrotourism, and the formulation of development strategy recommendations based on the results of the analysis. The research results identified nine attractions, three accessibility aspects, and seven amenity elements at Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti. Based on a combined assessment from stakeholders and researchers using Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA), the fulfillment of sustainable agrotourism criteria shows the following final scores: economic criteria 2.3, Natural Resources 3.68, social 3.34, and environmental 3.13. Although Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti has reached a relatively good condition, further development is required to achieve optimal sustainable agrotourism status. The main priorities in the development strategy are the economic, environmental, social, and natural resource sectors. Agrowisata Tanjung Sakti still requires further development to achieve the status of sustainable agrotourism. The development strategy includes human resource training, collaboration between destinations, integrated tourism product development, and the use of digital technology, agricultural production diversification, the application of modern technology, and sustainable waste management.
