The analysis compares two renewable energy deployment methods: on-site, where the PV-hydrogen system is installed directly at the customer’s location, and off-site, where the system is built on land that does not belong to the customer. The evaluation includes calculations of Net Present Cost (NPC), Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), Operational Expenditure (OPEX), and an environmental impact analysis based on carbon emissions. Additionally, this study examines the influence of Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) revenue on the economic value of the system. Simulation results indicate that the on-site PV-hydrogen system offers economic advantages, with a lower LCOE of Rp1,160/kWh, supported by lower capital costs and shorter construction time. In contrast, the off-site method has a higher LCOE of Rp1,251/kWh due to increased CAPEX for land acquisition and longer construction durations. Simulations and analyses were conducted using HOMER Pro software to evaluate the optimal system configuration based on economic and technical aspects. text
