One of form of transformation is by doing repair, especially in the field of inwrought supply chain, regarded as of vital importance in business process PT XYZ. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Form of repair is by developing distribution line and transportation by using envelope concept with consideration of equality of source of supply and contiguity of distance between depots, but after tested, efficiency and effectiveness has not reached target because transportation line and shelf distribution still using stripper pattern. Therefore, the distribution line system and transportation must be evaluated. after that two activity can be resolved. Effectivity and efficiency in distribution line and transportation can be reached. This research aim to design and plans distribution system pattern and transportation of inwrought supply chain with object purpose of designing distribution route pattern by using concept envelope. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Evaluation started from identification of potential market and geographic segmentation to see number of potential markets in Indonesia product BBM. After the thing is reached then evaluation is done to chain pattern supply used till now by PT XYZ, after result of evaluation is known, that many depots experiencing double handling (handling of dealer depot by 2 source) and level of very low shelf distribution line efficiency, this thing is marked farly of shelf distribution line from source of to demand (main depot and manufactures to dealer depot) and the many amounts moda transportation (oiltanker) applied very height. After the step is identified, hence scheme and planning of supply chain is done as according to concept envelope which has been specified. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> After optimization is done by using shelf distribution line concept direct shipping with milk runs and shipment via DC with milk runs hence efficiency can be reached. Proven by the lessen of amounts number of transportation applied finite of 70% and level of service level (RTD) finite rising of 65%. Inferential that shelf distribution pattern and transportation of inwrought supply chain will run efficiently and effective if using combination of concept envelope and distribution system direct shipping with milk runs and shipment via DC with milk runs. But despitefully there are infrastructure which must be built to reach intention of the system, namely supporting facilities for backloading in some depots and development of agglomeration tank larger ones to accomodate BBM. This thing happened because there are some depot which the status rising from dealer depot becomes main depot as effect from the optimization. <br /> text |
