Facing this as a reality, numbers of health centre are open with some focuses on holistic therapies that heal medical symptoms as well as to revitalize and to relax the bodies, which later popularly known as alternative therapy. Their beings are consumed and utilized by many to serve health concerns of the people. Interestingly, consumers of those services tend to be 'picky', which means that they choose what's good and comfort for them. Thus, design of product becomes a significant reference in the process of 'persuading' consumers' interests, since it can provide identity in terms of usability, comfortability, technical assurances, and/or visual appeal. Having exposed to possible impact of design on service consumption, this study looks into what component of designs have significant effect on consumers' choice of services, by using jade-therapy as object of analysis. The components of design are defined as function, shape/forms, material, colors, and price. 15 items questionnaire were used to identify consumers' perception on the designs of three selected products; Ceragem Compact CGM-P390 (PT.INNICERAGEM), Nugabest Theurapetical Bed (PT.NUGABEST), and Capsule Therapy (MIRA BEAUTY). 10 purposive selected subjects on each theurapetical service place were given the questionnaire. All products of theurapetical services are located in Bandung, Indonesia. Two types of analysis were conducted : (1) Kendall's Correlation Analysis to identify what design components have significant effect on consumers' perception toward product services, (2) One-Way ANOVA to identify which of those design components provide significant difference that affect product service. Results of analysis suggest that women consumers of middle economic class dominate the consumption of product service. They tend to realize and accept that the jade-therapy can assist their health concerns. These consumers acknowledge that components of design influence their interest to use and consume the services, especially design components that relate to the usability, comfortability, and price of the services. text
