Snyder & Hansen as well as the germination and the growth of tomato, Lycopersicon lycopersicum (L.) Karsten has been done using completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that dichlorometan extracts significantly inhibited the growth of bacteria P. solanacearum from 1.0% (w/v) concentration. At 1.0% concentration the inhibition zone diameter (10.77 mm) was significantly different with control At 4.0%(w/v) concentration the inhibition zone diameter (17.59 mm) was not significantly different with agrimycin (0.01% w/v), a synthetical bactericide (inhibition zone diameter 18.02 mm). Ethanol extracts inhibited the growth of Fusarium oxysporum lycopersici. At 0.5% (w/v) concentration ethanol extracts did not inhibite the growth of fungi (colony diameter 4.5 cm) and were not significantly different with control (colony diameter 4.7 cm). 2.5% concentration (colony diameter 0.18 cm) were not significantly different with benlate 0.03% (b/v) a synthetical fungicide (colony diameter 0.75 cm). Ethanol extracts 2.5% inhibited seed germination until 100% and at 0.5% concentration were not significantly different with control Dichlorometan extracts 4.0% and 5.0% inhibited seed germination until 100%. Ethanol extracts 2.5% and dichlorometan extracts 4.0% did not affect chlorophyll content of leaf plant Neigh, number of flowers, number of fruits and total weight of fruits. <br /> text |
