Summary:Prediction of land use/land cover (LULC) change is an importance matter in land use. Therefore, a prediction model of land use change is needed. One of way e is using Monte Carlo method. In this research, Monte Carlo method is combined Markov Chain method to have a probabilistic value for every class of land use and moore neighborhood method to represent the relation between cells in the system that implemented to create a locational prediction model of land use change in imagery form. This image is a modeling result that can give a spatial pattern of land use prediction. Bandung Region was selected as an area of model implementation using 1994 and 1997 land use as a basic data and 2001 land use data defined as validation data. The result of validation process shows the accuracy of allocation and location prediction model of land use change.
