Abstract : <br /> <br /> <br /> Technology is one of main driving factors in competition. Technology changes have important role in driving industrial structure changes and in new industry development. Technology also gives significant effect determining relative cost position or relative differentiation. <br /> <br /> <br /> One important step in developing technology strategy is technology audit and assessment. Researchers and foundations have developed some audit and assessment models, such as United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and The Pacific (UNESCAP) (1989), Garcia-Arreola (1996), and Selada-Velosso (1999). These models need expert judgements in the assessment processes. <br /> <br /> <br /> This research goal is developing assessment technology model which minimize judgements by modify UNESCAP technology strategy model. Documented knowledges of a company are used as assessment criterias. Among all of UNESCAP components of technology, this research just analyzes technoware and modify first and second steps of UNESCAP model. <br />
