Project Fiber Optic Ring Makassar, or also known as project ForMa, is a project of building, provisioning, and operating new communication facilities, and upgrading existing facilities in working area of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Divre VII Makassar. Besides the project ForMa, there is a similar project, the project ForMa Expansion, which is the expansion of the project ForMa and includes 14 kabupaten in South Sulawesi. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The emerging of several obstacles in realization of project ForMa and ForMa Expansion then urges rescuing effort. The first factor to be noticed in determining the most suitable solution for the rescuing of project ForMa and ForMa Expansion is both projects need additional investment total Rp 45 M. The second factor to be noticed is the value of targeted NPV and IRR. The third factor is the necessity of extension of cooperation period with revenue sharing model. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on calculation analysis, rescuing effort for project ForMa and Forma Expansion can be done by halting PT OPQ involvement in both projects in 2007. Both projects by their concessions then be taken over by a special purpose vehicle appointed by PT OPQ. The special purpose vehicle is PT ABC, and PT OPQ will act as advisor. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The calculation shows that average net revenue for project ForMa and ForMa Expansion is Rp 83,406,105,,438 per year. NPV value for both projects is positive, Rp 325,744,256, and IRR value is 13%. The calculation also indicates the break-even point will be attained in 8.0 years. It means that the extension of cooperation period needed is 8 years, from 2007 to 2015. <br />
