Summary:In this research was developed an authoring tool or shell for Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) that named by S-Tutorial. Shell for ITS is needed to make cost for its development more efficient.<p>Development an ITS with S-Tutorial , only an instructional designer or an educator or a knowledge engineer entry the domain knowledge in structure than have been defined and make frame presentation in HTML file , so ITS about the domain knowledge have can be used to . S-Tutorial also support development sets of ITS about any domain knowledge (course) that runing together in an educational system environment.<p>There are four kind of user based on their activity in interaction with system that developed with S-Tutorial, supervisor as education administrator, instructional designer as arranger and entrier course material to system, educator as teacher/ lecturer, and student. Instructional designer and educator can the same person.<p>S-Tutorial have five module, there are domain, student, pedagogical, and communication module. In module domain the expert model and domain knowledge represented in three perspective, there are domain, knowledge structure, and instructional.The student model that maintained by student module have information about correctness, completeness, retention , and acquisition aspect. In pedagogical module there are some pedagogical policy and scenario of frame presentation flow. In communication module maintained dialog style based on any kinds of Unit Perspective Instructional <br /> <br /> <br /> S-Tutorial implemented by Borland Delphi 5 and Paradox in MS Windows 98 environment. Software Development Method that used is Waterfall. <br />
