Water influx gives the effect to maintain reservoir pressure and it will maintain the production rate. Stronger the water drive will give higher reservoir pressure and will increase the production rate. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This paper discusses the simulation of water drive effect to water cut by changing reservoir/fluid parameters such as porosity, rock compressibility, permeability, and mobility using edge water drive model. From the simulation, a type curve with dimensional time variable is obtained and can be used to observe the influence of these parameter to water cut. This dimensionless curve plots the water cut versus production time. <br /> text |
