The purpose of this research is to analyze the change in soil physical properties due to recharge of rain water by using numerical simulation approximation. Meanwhile, its objective is to build a software for the approximation in order to obtain quantity of the recharge in unsaturated zone. This research is especially conducted in settlement and forest locations in North Bandung area. <br /> There are two conditions in calculating recharge quantity in the settlement as well as in the forest locations. The first condition is the presence of saturated soil located between groundwater table and ground surface after rain. The second condition is the presence of saturated soil also located between groundwater table and ground surface before and after rain. <br /> text
