Soekarno-Hatta Airport which is run by PT. XYZ as one of primary International one in Indonesia, should be able to maintain all the instruments in the airport very well. Therefore, one of the important telecomunications instruments known as radio trunking is needed. Radio trunking is a radio communication system that could cover the need of effective, efficient, and secure communication needs in the airport.<p> <br />

This thesis will discuss about the replacing process of the old radio trunking products and the preserve process of the new products by using the BOT (Built-Operate-Transfer) system, and the feasibility study of those projects by using the quality also the feature of the radio trunking products and the business which include Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Periode pengembalian (payback period), Return On Equity (ROE), dan Return On Investment (ROI).<p> <br />

The research produces the result in pointing at three scenarios that might happen, such as: Pessimistic, Most Likely, and Optimistic. This feasibility study concludes that the project is worth to be done. The right tool to fulfil the criteria is Radio Trunking ICOM IC-F43TR UHF and it gained the potential NPV for the project is as much as Rp 3.431.859.801 and also the IRR is 19,87%.<p> <br />

The implementation that will immediately be held is launch the project offering process to find the right company that will run the project and soon will replace the former tool by this Radio Trunking ICOM IC-F43TR UHF. |
