The implementation this expert system software provides absolute programming and incremental programming overall consists of 268 rules and 1531 facts. <br /> <br /> <br /> With prepared tools compensations, position shift offset. running test and machining process exactly will therefore result an effective cutting time, economic tool life, total cost per product for 1 shift or 2 shift and quality surface finish of product <br /> <br /> <br /> On case study 1, which is making of product Queen with absolute programming, the calculated total effective cutting time 15.23 minute and number of quality surface finish on between N4 and N5. On case study 2 with make a kind of product Castle with incremental programming is gotten total effective cutting time 8.91 minute and number of quality surface finish on N5. With known this total effective cutting time therefore other variabels can be obtain. <br /> <br /> <br /> Prototype of this expert system is hoped to help technician and practician to prepare operation and design product on CNC TU-2A machine. This expert system is still possible to be developed as the development of science and technology and expertise of expert progress. <br /> text
