One of the problem in post-implementation phase is user rejection thus the use of ERP is not maximal. As the result the benefit of ERP implementation is not achieved

Not-maximal use occured because the users dont accept the system. Several model from past research had identified certain factors which promote user acceptance. By synthesizing those factors produced UTAUT model. UTAUT model identifies four factors of system acceptance as independent variables, those are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating condition.

This research uses the independent variables of UTAUT model as the model of ERP system acceptance. Beside those 4 factors, this research adds managerial interventions, symbolic adoption as dependent variable which measure user acceptance, and attitude toward system use as intervening variable between independent variables and dependent variable. This researchs model also includes technology trust and habit as variables that moderate attitude and symbolic adoption.

Using SEM for hypotesa testing and 126 samples taken from PT Telkom this research concludes that there are four factors that have influence in ERP system acceptance they are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions and technology trust. This model can be used as basic model for futher research in system acceptance area.
text
