In the interest of this, at 2001 national education minister has an idea of wide society need basis education policy with the life skill orientation. And how the life skill education policy is implemented in SHS all this time, how SHS education policy is able to give wide choices to student and responsive to need context changes <br /> <br /> <br /> The qualitative-descriptive method with study case approach is used in this research, and it's focused on Life Skill Education implementation at SHS. To find out more about the implementation descriptive is obtained from a few documents and empirical study in non-pilot project and pilot project Senior High Schools as sample purposive. Although Life Skill Education Program has potency to improve and actualize the student’s interest and talent, and the school and region conditions, potencies, and needs, in the result of empirical research is found about the actualization potency is bordered on lack of region goverment stimulation to need's parties and the limitedness of school and stakeholder efforts. The implication of this, to give wide choices to student as the aim of the program is hard to be implemented, moreover the limitedness of those is inclined to constrict the student’s choices. <br /> <br /> <br /> The result of empirical research is found also about a few curriculum policy changes in short time, lack of knowledge exchange, lack of sharing information, the difference version of goverment socialization. All have potency to cause the difference of perception in Life Skill Educational implementation. <br /> text
