Expanding administrative boundary of Bandung Municipal and its fast grow population require to evaluate the role of public transport condition. Nowadays, the roleof public transport in Bandung Municipal services about 7.13% from total of all passenger trips. Its data shows about the least role of public transport to employ the
function of public transport services in Bandung Municipal.

The problems of urban transport in Bandung Municipal meanwhile are decreasing of passenger urban transport, increasing of operational vehicle cost and disparity of passenger product entire routes. Decreasing of passengers is caused by highly of private car and motorcycle ownership. Increasing of operational vehicle cost as an
impact of periodically increase of kerosene. The disparity of passenger product entire routes is influenced by land use activities along routes corridor. These problems effect on decreasing the operators service quality. Since 2005, the total of urban transports in areal operation has decreased from the 5.521 units to the 4.695 units.
This study focused on the role of routes pattern and activities to product some passenger urban transport. The analysis divided into three steps: the first, identify the
growth of passenger urban transport and its problems which faced. There are about 97.3% respondents state that are decreasing the total of passengers. Second, employ a statistical test with cross tabulation method to classify about benefit, sufficient and lose out of the operators income and its interrelation with route pattern and activity variables. The result explains that route pattern especially the pure periphery routes and periphery via subcentre routes have more potential passenger product. Whereas, the activities variabledetermines that the residential is the most potential activity to product the passenger. And so its followed by the shopping centre and then the education activity. The route with offices characteristic includes in the non-potential activity to product the passenger. The third step is scoring to know how precisely determine the influence of each of the independent variable.
The conclusions of this study are the journey of passenger urban transports mostly do at the periphery and sub-centre areas. Whereas, the passenger journey with
urban transport from periphery to CBD generally is far less, so the operators have lost out of income. Therefore, to improve the urban transport system in Bandung Municipal is recommended to do properly on adequacy design routes between the potential zones and non-potential zones. If the decision variable aims onto subsidize, the value of negative incomes can be considered as a parameter to define the subsidy value. Besides, private sectors investment can use on the IV and V route pattern but the residential, education and shopping centre activities must be chosen. Out of these activities like offices suggested being restricted for an investment.
