Summary: | Technology is an factor that has its influence in creating competitive advantages of a business, and has an essential role in industrial structure change and in appearing new industry. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between technology components and competitive advantages factors of small industries - especially food industry - in Subang. The technology components are measured using Technometric Method, since measuring of competitive advantages is used by variables of manufacture competitive strategy, and being proceed by factor analysis. The relationship between technology components and competitive advantages factors being represented by linear regression method. Suppose that the result of the regression model applied can be used as an input for policy strategy in developing small industry competitive advantages especially for food industry. This research concludes about significant linking between three technology components - Technoware, Inforware, and Orgaware - and three competitive advantages factors - Flexibility, Innovation, and Delivery. Neverthless, none of Technology Contribution Coefficient values (TCC) have significant relationship to compotitive advantages factors. |
