Nowadays, especially in Indonesia, knowledge management initiative is lack of attention in other aspects beside technology, such as leadership, organizational culture or climate, to encourage person to share knowledge. These research objectives were to identify and analyze some major factors affecting people to share their knowledge. Hence, this research model was developed in behavioral contexts of knowledge sharing based on the theory of reasoned action (TRA). Dimensions involved were Transformational Leadership, Organizational Climate, Team-Based Reward, Sense of Urgency, Subjective Norm, Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing and Intention to Share Knowledge. This model was examined and validated at one public company in Bandung using 4520 sample from 8296 respondents which was taken from all employees in band position 3 to 6. Technique analysis used in this research was Structural Equation Modeling by applying LISREL 8.54. This research results showed that attitude toward knowledge sharing and subjective norm positively affect intention to share knowledge. It also proved that subjective norm could affect directly to intention to share knowledge as well as indirectly affect through attitude toward knowledge sharing; organizational climate affected indirectly to intention to share knowledge through subjective norm; and transformational leadership directly affected organizational climate. Otherwise, in this result, it also showed that sense of urgency did not positively affect intention to share knowledge although it was affected positively by transformational leadership. <br /> text
